{Happy Halloween!!!

This is my favorite holiday all year... the reason? I don't know - the colors, the costumes, pumpkins, soup, cider, scones, scary movies, caramel apples, candles, seeing my little 3 year old get excited about all the same stuff... the list goes on and on.

{Is that a black eye???

Poor Jackson... At the wedding, he was bitten by a mosquito and it turned into a black eye!

{Mr. and Mrs. Berry...

WOW... what a weekend. We went to Sacramento over the weekend to see Ty and Kenz tie the knot! It was beautiful.

The whole thing was beautiful. Let me just start out by saying that we were just lucky to make it. Thursday morning, the day that we flew out, we woke up to atleast a foot of snow. Every school district in the city was closed and all the radio announcers told everyone to stay off of the roads because they were awful. The highway patrol hadn't seen them that bad in 10 years! We were sliding all over the road but after 3 1/2 hours we made it up to Denver and found out our flight had been delayed by 2 1/2 hours, which meant that we missed our connecting flight from Salt Lake to Sacramento. Anyway, by the time we finally made it to CA it was 11:00 at night and we were completely exhausted! But, we made it none the less and we wouldn't have missed it for the world.

The sealing was at the brand new Sacramento temple, which is gorgeous. It is a smaller temple, but you would never know it. The the inside is full of mahogany wood and beautiful marble mosaics. It really is pretty. Grandpa Norm sealed them for time and all eternity. It was a wonderful sealing and they looked so good, so happy together.

Mom and Dad booked a great little restraunt called the Slocum house, not to be confused with the "scrotum" house for the after sealing luncheon. It took us a little while to find it, but it was fabulous. The setting was so pretty and the food was great. Jackson especially enjoyed the wild roosters! Ty and Kenz stayed at the Marriott (mom and dad surprised them and upgraded them to a suite), while the rest of us headed up to Gridley and the Gridley Inn.

The reception was Saturday night at McKendra's parents house. They started out with a ring ceremony for the family members that weren't able to be at the sealing. Her father officiated and it was very nice. The reception was definately a party. There was great food, fun music and the decorations were awesome. McKendra's parents have a beautiful home on 18 acres of farm land in Northern California. The weather was perfect, so the outside reception was incredible. Here are some of my favorite pictures...

{Pumpkin Farm...

Jackson went on his second field trip with his preschool class. This time it was to the Venetucci pumpkin farm. For over 50 years the farm has given each school age child one pumpkin that they could carry off of the farm for free. It was a crack up to see all these tiny kids trying to heft their free pumpkin from the pumpkin patch!

This is a picture of Jackson's 'best buddie' Carson.

{Bryant's wedding...

Yes, Bryant is finally married! It was a beautiful reception at North Hampton House and Shelly looked absolutely beautiful. They were both glowing. It was a little rough carting all the kids around, but we had a good time.

{dum, dum, da dum...

Here comes the bride, here comes the bride... Tess and I went to a bridal shower for Kenz on Saturday night in Provo. It was a fun get together put on by Lindsay and Tessa. The food was great and she got some really nice things. My favorite gift was the apron mom made for her (it of course came with a "Berry's favorite recipe book"

{Just like dad...

This picture cracked me up. This was during our recent trip out to Utah. Craig and Todd went to the BYU game earlier in the day and then cuddled up to their boys for a little more afternoon game time!

{Tanny's Football Game...

I'm going to try this again... I think my files were too big. Here are some of my favories from Tanner's game.
