{Arizona Love...

I am definately not as dedicated at this blogging thing as most - in fact I'm not really sure what my purpose in doing it is, other than to keep track of what our family is up to and to try and have a sense of productivity in my life!

Well, I guess I need to back up to the end of January. Mom, Tanny, Jackson and I went on a little trip down to Arizona. I scheduled an appointment with the Mayo Clinic to see if I couldn't get some help with this Morphea thing I've been dealing with. Morphea is an auto-immune disease, completely "un-related" to RA (although, I'm beginning to think it's ALL related!) It has no side effects other than these bruise like spots all over the left side of my body. They don't itch or hurt, they're just there... and they're spreading! None of my doctors in the Springs could help me. They had never seen anyone wih Morphea before. Anyway, the trip proved semi-successful. The doctor I met with had atleast dealt with Morphea before and thought that I was at the tail end of the disease... only time will tell~ So in an hour and a half we were done at the clinic and had 6 days left with nothing to do... we ended up driving out to CA to see grandma and grandpa. Ellie and Uncle Craig came down to have dinner with us one night. It turned out to be a really great trip! Todd and Dina were fabulous hosts and we came just in time for Drew's 12th birthday!
